RMAE Student Highlight: Hayden Hyslop, an eighth grader on the RMAE math team, has been invited by the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) to participate at UNC in the second round of the 2019-2020 UNC Math Contest to be held January 25, 2020 in Greeley.  Hayden's invitation was extended based on her outstanding performance in the first round of the UNC contest, which was conducted in the last week of October.  The UNC contest is open to 7th through 12th graders with the same math problems given to all. Hayden is the first student from RMAE to be invited to participate in the second round of the contest. When you see Hayden or other members of the RMAE math team (Reagan Kipp, Kaylee Kipp, Lochlan Daronco, Cecilia Johns and Taylin Gimbel), congratulate them all and thank them for representing RMAE.  Their next competition will be the MathCounts competition at the School of Mines on February 7, 2020.
