Kindergarten Enrollment & Registration - SCHOOL YEAR 2019-2020


Kindergarten enrollment begins by submitting either a Round 1 or Round 2 EnrollJeffco enrollment application.   

First Round Choice Enrollment period - January 22nd  February 8th,  2019. 

Applications will be submitted online and will be available as soon as the window opens.  

If there are more applications submitted than openings, a lottery will take place to fill the open slots. Parents will be notified by February 25th of their application status.  If their child is offered a position in their grade level, they will have 5 days to accept or decline this position.

Second Round Choice Enrollment Period - February 9, 2019 through August 31, 2019. The second round applications are processed on a space-available, first-come, first-served basis. As space becomes available, parents will be notified through the contact information entered on the application.

your child has been offered a position in the kindergarten class for the fall of 2019, we will be asking you to complete the registration process where you will provide student information, health information, immunizations and birth certificates.  Please see below for the Early Registration Check List.



It is mandatory that parents/guardians register their child(ren) during the Early Registration Period for the upcoming school year. In the event of wait-lists, the documents listed in the Early Registration (below) must be returned within 2 weeks of the offer letter/email, or the student's spot on next year’s roster could be forfeited.

*(2) Jeffco Connect Parent Online Signatures Requirements – The Agreements Tab 

  • Click on the student’s name (must be completed for each student).
  • Navigate to the ‘Agreements’ tab found in the yellow box on the left side of the page.
  • Halfway down the page, you will find view and sign
  • Click the NEXT button at the bottom of the page after signing both document agreements.
  • If you have more than one student in Jeffco, please follow these steps for each student.
  • Click SUBMIT (at the top left of the summary page) after you have completed these tasks.

*(3) BYOD ‘Bring Your Own Device’
While we do not allow or condone the use of personal devices at RMAE, by signing off on the Jeffco BYOD policy, it will also serve as our ‘internet use policy’ which covers all use of the internet while at school.

Other Helpful Information:

The following documents/order forms will be updated in the spring of 2019:

  • School Supply Kit Order – (School Code ROC157) Order by June 24th to have kits delivered to the school & avoid the shipping charge and 14% increased cost.
  • RMAE Family Calendar – download/print for your reference
  • RMAE Family Handbook– review along with your student(s)
  • RMAE Dress Code – review along with your student(s)
  • Mountain Backpack Enrollment and Information – food assistance program application
  • The full-day tuition cost has been reduced from $380 to $275 per month by the RMAE Board of Directors for the 2018-2019 school year! There is, of course, no charge (other than nominal student fees) for half-day kindergarten.
  • Student fees apply to all grade levels and are similar to the fees charged by all Jeffco Public Schools. These fees are for consumables which are used by the students.
