Kindergarten - One of our first Core Knowledge units was studying the human body, which we just finished.   As you will notice, the students each created versions of the human body on paper.  Each class studied the different body systems as we built them onto our paper bodies.  Students learned about the different organs and how they help the body function.  The images you see below are the final result of the student’s two week exploration of the human body. We are looking forward to applying this knowledge to our next unit study of the five senses.

Lego Elective
-  Students built creations using their creativity and then explained to their classmates the story behind what they built.  The students, without prompting from me, created a race track for their LEGO cars.  They established rules for the course, a race order, and a method for timing their car speeds.
