K – 2nd Grades 24 /per room / 48 per grade
3rd – 8th Grades 25 /per room / 50 per grade
RMAE Class Placement
Student placement in grade level classrooms will be determined by a team including the previous year’s teachers, any applicable specialists, and the director. When determining class placement, the following factors will be considered: equal distribution of males and females and equitable placement of achievement levels of all students.
Parental input will only be considered when there are multiple siblings, as in the case of twins or triples.
Placement meetings will occur during May of the previous year.
