About: Born and raised in Jacksonville, attended and graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee on an academic scholarship with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and minors in Economics and Secondary Education (the latter obtained by doing post-graduate work while teaching high school academic mathematics)

Interesting Fact: Along with teaching math I coached 5A high school baseball, and one of my student-athletes eventually became National League Rookie of the Year (!)
Personal Message: I enjoy being a material part of a developing learner’s migration from child to young adult
Core Knowledge:
Schedule: 7th-grade Pre-Algebra 3rd and 4th periods; 8th-grade Algebra I following lunch period; elective (currently card games: strategy and probability in action!), prior to lunch; 7th-grade Advise (all of our 7th-grade young men) at end of day.
