Originally from:  Jacksonville, Florida

About:  Born and raised in Jacksonville, attended and graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee on an academic scholarship with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and minors in Economics and Secondary Education (the latter obtained by doing post-graduate work while teaching high school academic mathematics)

Favorite Quote:  “One inevitably learns more from one’s mistakes than one’s successes; never be fearful of failure.”

Interesting Fact:   Along with teaching math I coached 5A high school baseball, and one of my student-athletes eventually became National League Rookie of the Year (!)

Personal Message:  I enjoy being a material part of a developing learner’s migration from child to young adult
